PTFA

Welcome to the Rivington Primary PTFA page!

We are a group of friendly parents, school staff and governors who are committed to providing enriching equipment, experiences and opportunities for our children and school. 

We formed in October 2022 and are keen to get stuck in organising events for our children, their families and the wider community. We've already organised a successful Christmas fair and have lots of exciting plans for the rest of the year.

The funds we raise will go towards supporting our fantastic school and children, such as subsidising school trips, buying equipment and resources to enhance lessons and playtime, or bringing outside agencies in to deliver exciting activities and experiences.

All parents/carers are members of the PTFA and are invited to attend our regular meetings and AGM, we love to see new faces joining!

We know being a parent is a busy job, not to mention juggling it with work, other caring commitments, study, or health problems; and so no matter how big or small a role you want to play everyone is welcome and we always need volunteers!

Chair

Hi, I’m Jen and I’m the chair of Rivington PTFA.  I’m a mum of two to Daphne in year 5 and James who is in year 10 at Cowley and have been involved in helping out with school events since James was in reception.  I’m thrilled that we now have a ‘proper’ PTFA and I’m really looking forward to organising lots of fun events for our community and raising some extra funds to pay for new equipment and experiences to enhance our children’s time at school.
