Y5 Viking Shields

Year 5 have enjoyed learning all about the 'Vicious Vikings' this half term. They designed and created their own Viking shields and tested them out on the school field. They even had the opportunity to try on chainmail. During the Viking Age, chainmail would have been the ultimate armor for any Viking warrior. It was very heavy!
