The Kindest Children in Town

Class: Year 2 Year: 2016 - 2017

Year Two have been reading "The Smartest Giant in Town" by Julia Donaldson.  They worked in pairs to make each other a crown for the kindest children in town, just like the giant in the story.  The children interviewed each other to find out what their partner wanted their crown to look like.  After that they drew a design, consulted each other and made any amendments.  Next they used a variety of materials to create their bespoke crowns. 

Everyone was delighted with their unique and made to measure crowns!
