Year 6 Yoga

As part of 'Health and Wellbeing' week and to help us to focus on preparing for our tests, we have been learning to practise yoga.  We have learnt lots of different poses or 'asanas' including warrior poses to help us be strong and balances to help us focus.  Some of us have even mastered handbalances such as tripod headstand and crow pose, which require a high level of concentration and control.

We have used breathing techniques to get us ready for learning in class and we have become skilled in relaxation techniques which will help us to be calm and positive in the coming weeks.
